Marketing and Publicity Intern - Fixed Term 6 Months
Zed Books is introducing a 6 month paid internship scheme in their marketing department. The Marketing and Publicity Intern will work closely with the all members of the marketing department, supporting the team by taking on a varied and challenging array of tasks.
Candidate: You will be educated to degree level, very well organised, have excellent attention to detail and have the ability to balance a varied workload. You will have a proven interest in publishing and specifically marketing and publicity, some office-based experience and a basic understanding of MS Office. An interest in Zed’s list and politics would be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities: * Database management * Assistance with events planning * Working on our social media platforms * Assisting with publicity mailings * Helping to prepare marketing materials * Assisting the Marketing department with administrative tasks * Internet research for a variety of marketing tasks * Additional responsibilities * Attending conferences and events as a company representative * Assisting other members of staff in the company as and when required
Fixed term contract (6 months, full-time commencing ASAP) Salary: £6.31 p\h Closing date: 28 Nov 2013
